Are Limited's 20" Wheels Only for Looks?

Tell me 20's don't look bling on a classic Mercedes...

Wouldn't hurt to send me a PM when you're ready to sell them. My guess is shipping from MD to UT is a killer though.

You might be surprised. I shipped my 4 OEM TE rims to a member here from Colorado to Indiana for (going off memory but will be close) about $70 Fed-Ex freight.

Granted I do have a Fed-Ex corporate account and that helps a bunch, but if you split it into two wheels per box and are willing to wait a week for delivery freight shipping could be your way to go.

Correctly packing and protecting the wheels is critical. You don't want scratches or clear coat damage.

When on the highway on/off ramp or the twisty roads in hill country of Texas or the mountains of Colorado, I really miss the XREAS system my 2003 Sport Edition had.

That being said, my 2015 TEP doesn't handle that much worse for 90% of my on road driving, and it has been very capable off-road. :D

Does your TEP have KDSS? How does KDSS compare to XREAS?

No. I chose not to get the KDSS because I plan on modifying my 4Runner to my own specifications.

KDSS and XREAS are very different systems aimed at very different end results.

XREAS modifies the suspension for better on-road handling of what is essentially a heavy mid-sized SUV in the turns. XREAS is on all the time. There is no way to "turn it off".

KDSS modifies the articulation of the suspension for better wheel travel off-road - giving you a better ability to put your tires to the ground/rock/mud/whatever to get better traction. KDSS requires the driver to input on/off. (from my understanding)

KDSS does not require driver input, you may be thinking of crawl control. It only impacts sway bars for on and off road and does so automatically.

Yep. Actually it will do it on road too. I did a short experiment awhile back... was in a big empty parking lot and started doing low speed tight circles. I felt the body lean a bit. I gradually sped up to about 15+ mph and felt the side roll firm up. Neat little experience.

Gotcha. Hence the "Dynamic" part of it. That's cool.

I think I was thinking about the system on the Jeeps that require you to press a button.

I would have loved to have gotten KDSS, but I have a high tendency towards tinkering. Hence I almost removed the XREAS on my 2003...
