I think for now i'm going to start with just a lift, but I do get to get out to make sure I know what I want. I don't plan to wheel much, I like the look, and I like just drive offroad and finding places to go. But after I lift it, I need to save up for my equally as dumped "invested" project car. I love a good big suv but I love my slammed cars....

I work until 0830. If I leave an hour early at 0730 I can be at Tibble just before 0900. I'm gonna have a hard time leaving any earlier than that though.

Well damn. Why is this so hard to plan out a run. But hmmm ok maybe let try and plan a noob run for next month so everyone can arrange their schedules to make it. We will hold the time to 0900 then

We could do two groups and whatever works better for people? I know Jared wants to come too

So i've worked it out so if you guys are still down, I can come and do the 8 am run or what if we all met in the middle for 8:30??? Yes?

Tibble Reservoir is where we're meeting. From there to the trailhead is maybe 15-20 minutes unless the road up the canyon is clogged, then maybe longer. Once we get to the Forest Lake trailhead, figure 1.5 hours up, maybe an hour down (longer if we stop frequently for pic whoring).

What time do you need to be at work? If we air down quick and are rolling from Tibble by 0915, I think we'll be back at the parking lot by 1330, plus or minus. Does that help?

All the fun stuff on Forest Lake is early in the trail, you wont miss much if you don't come all the way to the top. Forest Lake itself is really just a big mud puddle.

A stock rig can do it no sweat.

Why do you people wake up so early? And if you do 9am meet up I might be able to make that... though I think I'll hold off until you guys do Rattlesnake or something that goes all day. I don't want to drive for 5 hours total to only wheel for 4 hours.

And is there really reason to air down? When we did it, there wasn't really anything past that first rocky section and it didn't seem like a place where airing down would really help much.
