Yeah, I was hoping that the (local) forum would be more active, but like many it seems Facebook is taking over.
I'm in the Gilbert/QC area as well. Just got a new to me 2016 white TE, bone stock right now.

Welcome! So you are like me, still drooling and dreaming over what to buy next lol. I have money set aside for my lift and tires. Unfortunately I ran into a job situation, so I am making sure I don't have to use that money to eat before spending it on my lift. But if all goes well, once I get another job, that money will be spent right away lol.

Yeah I thought I saw a regional section in the site before that had more AZ people. I guess not though.

I'm down right now - just had foot surgery, so I'm not driving anywhere. Once I mend, I'd be up for some wheeling...nothing drastic, but certainly ut to the back country.

Moved from the va/md/dc area and living in fountain hills. I was also wondering about a tint shop. Found a place in Scottsdale but had very few reviews.

I lived in Fountain Hills for a while before moving to Queen Creek. Fountain Hills is a beautiful area. I don't know of a tint shop personally, though I have a buddy I am seeing over the weekend that says he has a hook up at one. I'll ask him when he is over.

Cactus tint in the airpark does great work. Fork over the money for good tint. Its worth it out here.

3rd thursday of every month we meet at red robin at the scottsdale pavilions. people are usually there from 6:30-9pm. that will be a good way to meet local 4runner owners, even if you aren't on Facebook.

Pretty sure i know who you are talking about with the white one. Check out Arizona 4runners and AZ toyota 4x4 collective on Facebook. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure i know who you are referring to with the mag grey sr5 too.

I wasn't sure where to post this in the site, but I am in the Queen Creek/San Tan area. Over the last couple months, I've seen a couple nice 5th Gens: Mag Grey SR5 that was lifted, wheels/tires, roof rack, front bumper (very nice!) and another white SR5 that was lifted, wheels/tires, black stickers and I noticed it had the yellow/amber Baja fogs that I am looking at getting. I see them every now and then in the area, so I'm thinking they live around here.

Anyways, I was seeing if those guys were on here and if any other T4R guys are in the area.

If you want to PM me your number, I can shoot you a text when we head out to some trails, since you don't have Facebook haha. There's a group of about 3-5 of us that go pretty frequently, we try to every weekend.

Great info! Do you still meet up in the summer? I'll be in town sometime in July to pick up and install my rack and sliders.

You can spend a lifetime exploring this state. Endless forest roads and public lands. It's hot but there are riparian zones just outside of the Phoenix metro where temperatures drop 20 degrees and the water is Cold. 7 springs to sheeps bridge north of Carefree is a good start. Check out azfj.org if you are looking for group runs.

Lake Havasu City

Lake Havasu City is a good place for trails! It's about 3 hour drive but has lots of off road trails and mines to explore here are some photos below! It's also home to the Famous London bridge! I use to live here before I moved to MA. (I also Can't seem to figure out how to turn the photos of the Mine entrances side ways)

Went out last weekend for some light wheeling just to get the feel for this new truck. I poked around mud springs trail a little and log corral. Both get a little rougher than I was willing to do by myself and with my kids in the car. I knew that neither would take me very far but I had hoped I could run Mud Springs further out.
I'm up for some wheeling, but right now I'm bone stock, so it will be more back country exploring that running hard trails. I got the first pinstripes out of the way within a week of ownership...

Thanks for the info, Ill have to check cactus tint out... Not sure I can make this month but maybe in July I will stop by. Be on the look out for a white TEP with virignia plates. I am usually on shea or on the beeline going to falcon field in mesa.
