There was a Land Cruiser in the showroom last month when I was at the dealership, was drooling lol.

The driver side window was down and the smell of the high quality leather just wafted out of the vehicle.

Sat in it, buttons everywhere.

I'm not a fan of the 2013 facelift for the Land Cruiser. The 08-11/12 is freaking awesome, though.

Supposedly they are bringing a downmarket Land Cruiser to replace the Sequoia for the next generation. If I can get all the mechanical bits of the LC without all the luxury bits, I would probably spring for one.

Agreed, but the chrome sidings will reduce the aggravation the self-centered door bashers around here will cause, and there are no peal metallic colors to match. Of course I really would prefer they were energized with 40,000 volts too.

I have to chime in here, my brother in law has one of these, a 2011, and my sister has a 2010 sequoia and honestly I like the sequoia better, the landcruiser i would be afraid to scratch the thing, even though the sequoia was still over $60k it just feels a little more truck like than the land cruiser. What do y'all think?

I haven't driven the LC, but I have towed quite a lot in the Sequoia. It feels about a mile wide and has IRS. I wouldn't be afraid of scratching the Sequoia because I'd never take it further offroad than a rutted gravel road. It's huge!

Yeah I believe the sequoia is actually wider and taller than the LC.

Agree, I much preferred the LC. The Sequoia seemed a bit soft for my taste...

I just like her in less formal wear. Given the means, a 13 LC would be in my garage. I'd just ditch some of the formal wear.

I certainly hope they do. I miss the previous model Sequoia. It was perfect all around IMO. The current model is just too big and ugly. If money was no object, I would definitely go for the LC. Whole different level and class I think.
