Attn: Colorado Guys!

Alright so far I have a very random group of people going. A mix of Yotas, Jeeps, and other trucks of all different capabilities. Anyone from here able to meet up in Woodland Park?
 
What time and where are you planning on meeting?

I have not committed to this because of a early afternoon birthday party I have to take my granddaughter to.
 
I could possibly be down if close to the springs. Could use some time in the woods

All you front range guys are making me a bit jealous, everything up here already has 1 1/2 of snow and I have my studs on now. With some notice I might be up for a run come Spring. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.

Where are you? Western or Eastern slope? And snow wheeling > All. Don't be jealous of them :D

I'm in Snowmass Village, and I just got my ski pass so its not all bad ;) Still think it would be cool to get together with some others from the board sometime.
 
I would go if it was not so snowy up there, buddy rolled his rig last year on a snowy trail. you guys have fun and good luck! Be safe.
 
Man i wish i didn't work this weekend! if you were going this evening i'd be down, i'm off at 3:30 in parker with a full tank of gas and a fresh paycheck for more! But i definitely agree on the idea of getting a good sized group together, I have 2 more runners i could bring and maybe a couple "cough"jeeps"cough".
 
I hope you all had fun. It was such a nice day that I took the opportunity to bang out some miles on the road bike instead. Work off that turkey & stuffing!
 
Just a trail report from yesterday, the snow wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was almost nonexistent in some areas. There was one problem though... We accidentally took a wrong turn onto an ATV trail without realizing and the trees got super close together a half mile into it. Couldn't turn around unless we went into the water. Didn't realize I'd dropped into the only area of water that was a foot deep. Duh. The ice was so thick that it locked my front wheel in and I was stuck for a whole hour throwing rocks at the ice. Any runs this week or next? I figured people are on break or off of work or free sometime around this time of year. If something was going on, that'd be awesome.
 
Go at least as far north as I-70 and I'll do a run with you :bounce: I'm so alone wheeling by myself all the time :(

Well that's fine with me. As long as the run is longer and more exciting than a round trip from the Springs to Denver, then I'm in. How many other rigs could we get with us? And I'm not familiar with trails that far north so you'll have to pick something out.
 
I'm down to head somewhere. I was playing around Bunce School Road/Ironclads yesterday. Some snow on the ground that kept me from going to far on Ironclads. I want to try out Bright Trail at some point since it is still open. I don't really know what else is open this time of year.

I haven't explored much south of me so don't know what's good/open, and I head back to Utah for school on Saturday so I'll have to wait to wheel with you until another break comes up (which is probably summer time and then I could head south to where you wheel since I wouldn't be strapped for time).
