August 2016 Meet and Run ...Idea Plan

Hahah. Yeah. Thought this DV Thanksgiving run was going to be mostly TW because that's where the planning started and I had a lot of guys talking about being interested, but so far there's been more interest out of T4R about it.

So far:

TW - 2
T4R - 4

I'm capping it at 10 rigs. I really don't want this to become some huge week long fiasco because there are too many people.

My son has the entire week of Thanksgiving off and I was planning on going out to DV for a few days with him since I had to take the time off work anyway. I mentioned it to a buddy on TW and it's begun to spiral into something else. It's going to be really interesting since I haven't done more than 2 days out at a time with my son and this is looking to be a good 4-5 day trip.

So whats the haps for a day run on the 17th? I'm trying to avoid a wedding and putting a suit and tie on . . .

Also all this DV talk gets me excited in my no no parts. Especially seeing my stock 4Runner in those pictures Miah, classic.

I think there's some talk of doing a little more overlanding from the tundra guys too for that week or a little before. Starting with a few days on the Mojave Road and figuring out how to get into DV from there, ideally as much dirt as possible for almost 6-10 days of shenanigans.

Depends on [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] I'm gonna be in palm springs that weekend and looking to hit some dirt while I'm out there. So whenever he wants to meet and wherever he wants to roll. May or may not have my son, depends on if he wants to hang out with Grandma or go wheeling.

Running around with Miah the 17th, gonna take some tw peeps on a white mountain tour the following week. Then I'm done until Thanksgiving. We're getting ready to plan a Thanksgiving death valley week. End plan is a deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving day at one of the cabins.
