Auto transmission shifter

So I've swapped out my auto shifter a few times now. Stock to TRD to FJ Cruiser back to TRD etc. I've noticed the shaft that the shifter screws on to kinda flexes/clicks when I tighten it down at the end. Somewhat like how the Trail transfer case shaft flexes/pops, but not the same. Probably me worrying over nothing as everything seems tight, but is it possible something on the auto shifter may have loosened up slightly from the screwing/unscrewing switching shift knobs? I've noticed the click before but it seems to do it more readily now. Only happens when applying rotational force to the shift knob when it's tight.

Does the TRD shifter screw right into place facing the right direction nice and tight?

Yeah it's fits fine. Screws on straight and tight. Just wondering about the actual shaft flexing a bit and if it could ever become a problem.
