wtf

outside of Jeep and Land Rover, the best brand for those who want to go off road is Toyota

we're partial to the 4Runner, which is a far more affordable entry that serves as Toyota's challenger to the Jeep Grand Cherokee

I can't read these things. They make me stabby.

Fantastic review and couldn't be more accurate.
Comments, well, they always seem to bring out the true unhappiness of the great unwashed.

Leaving the 4Runner unwashed is probably the best. As it does not clean up well. Ugly is the 5 gen's cross to bare.

I believe the Autoblog gave it a fair shake. No one likes to admit it's baby has a less than good looking face.
It lives on it's reliability.

It was a pretty fair review. Honestly I enjoyed the photographs of the 2014 LE the most. The new look is really growing on me in the LE trim only. Not a big fan of the SR5/Trail - I guess I like chrome. It might explain why I pulled the trigger on a BP SR5 in May of last year after seeing the Trail and figuring the front end for the SR5 would be the same.

If I do another vehicle I think I am going to throw the budget out the window and get another BP 4WD Limited model - it looks way better. Plus I think the redwood interior looks great!

But really Autoblog what are you expecting sports car handling? I would say even my regular SR5 rides/drives really well considering what it is. Then again I actually prefer it to my first "SUV" my Pontiac Torrent. I would actual say in some/many situations the 4Runner rides better, gets roughly the same fuel economy, can tow more and has WAY THE HELL more oomph plus it is actually 4WD!
