Kind of but not necessarily. Just seems like this forum more than any other I've been on has bad luck with tire balancing. I dunno. Maybe 4runner's are more sensitive//susceptible to a bad balance job than other makes/models.
If you look at the link that MONTYMTB posted earlier in this thread, it mentions how Toyota had a TSB published that aknowledged the use of a wheel adapter was necessary for the most accurate blancing.
