2012 65k Still works fine. (knock on wood)
Mine works noise-free and no failure at 13k, but experience is the same as many here: the blower has been weak since day one.
I remember a thread where a guy was having issues with multiple failed blowers and then abruptly ended the thread by stating the problem was finally resolved by using a Land Cruiser blower.
alico268 is the Land Cruiser blower a drop in part like the replacement 4Runner blower, or does it require fitting/mods, and which model TLC is it from?
...I wonder if there is an "aftermarket" or Antman modification that can be done to the blower...

I'm sure I could rig up a brushless motor in there and blow the vents right outta the dash, but I digress...lol,
I'm not quite sure the specifics as Salvo didn't elaborate but just stated his problem was resolved after a unit for a 100 series LC was used. It was post #40 in the following thread:

I'll shoot him a message and see if we can get him to chime in here.
From his post in that thread I gathered that he had bought an entire 100 series LC, not just the blower motor![]()
96r50 nailed it. I had been kicking around the idea of trading for a 100. The multiple blower failures were enough to inch me over the edge. Loved my 4R, just wanted another LC.
