Beach Camping Trip Photo's of my new '02

I recently took a trip to wilmington, nc for a weekend camping trip and wanted to share some photo's. Let me know what ya think. She's about to trip 200k in less than 100 miles!!

Where were you out on the beach in NC?

He is definitely at Carolina Beach about 15 minutes south of Wilmington, NC. I will be going there this weekend. One of the few beaches you can legally drive out on.

That's Freeman Park at Carolina Beach. I will be going out there on Tuesday for the first time in the 4Runner. I had a season pass last year for my Xterra.

Not really any off-roading, but still a lot of fun for camping and fishing.

I was pretty close to there last week. I stayed in a house on Oak Island.

I don't think I could make myself camp on the beach. Way too much sand to get places I don't want it.

Yeah, it looked somewhat familiar, although I've never been there. My family owns a house in Corolla, NC (another one of the few places you can drive on the beach), and the scenery looks almost identical.

I think all of the NC residents need to meet up on the beach there...I went last year for the first time and it was awesome (I'm a yankee transplant to the south...)!

Thanks for all the input guys. I would never use running boards so i see no need in them. Yeah, we were at Freeman's park. It's a great place to camp if you don't mind the sand. I didn't get a chance to try it in the water, mostly because the cop's were all over us and because i didn't want to get salt water all over her. We are heading back there May 14th for the week after exams. It would be pretty cool if a lot of us met up down there. Oh yeah, how do i get a pic on my profile for my avatar? Thanks again guys.

dont forget the residents in southern va.. ncthomas, awsome pics, i miss the beach. a 4runner beach trip would be cool, wilmington or obx.
