At one point in time they didn't have the same lifetime warranty. That was the upside to ordering them from NAPA vs elsewhere. Not 100% sure about now though.

The rockauto Limited Lifetime Warranty on these is below. Seems to be a fairly restrictive defect-only agreement that says warranty is void if boot is damaged in any way.....

Exactly why I will keep running Oreilly axles. They don't even look twice. I have brought them a 4 year old CV that exploded and looked like it had been laying behind the barn, and they just said "ok cool" and gave me a new one.

Yeah, there is a lot of value is that sort of situation. O'Rileys is practically everywhere. Good service. Always nice to have easy replacements without drama to a linked account for easy lookup.
There's always a cheaper option, but it usually comes with a some sacrifices.
I'm pretty sure that the NAPA axle is made by Trakmotive (see pictures below). You can buy Trakmotive at Rockauto for about half the price of NAPA.
I went with the Trakmotive extended travel axles, which are now about $106 each - More Information for TRAKMOTIVE TO8043XTT

Several months in and no problems. I was tearing the 'OEM' reman boots like crazy. As ppl have mentiond - they rust. Paint the bare metal shafts beforehand if that matters to you. I got the TrackMotiv EXTD HD axles from Rock auto. I don't forseee needing a warranty for the premium Napa price.

I replaced both with Trackmotive and had one fail after 1year 10k~ miles. Replaced it with another Trakmotive. The other is still doing fine. It will be 2 years come June but less mileage was put on the truck this last year.

I put IMPORT DIRECT (TRAKMOTIVE) on in 2021. Ran them hard for 2.5 years with no failures. I am at stock height though. I feel like the guys that have issues are lifted and their boots constantly rub and wear out. I have since switched to manual hubs, running Trakmotive brand axles also.

My Napa axles are still doing great. They do rust bad though. I'll paint the next set for sure. I'm running at 2.3" lift on a set of bilstein 6112 and put on a set of JBA arms last year. They're probably 4-5 years old now
So far they've held up very well. No tearing, no nothing. Only have 8-9k miles or so on them. I'll bet 1/2 - 2/3 of those miles are off-road though.

I gave up after 4 torn boots on whatever Toyota sold me over the last 4 years. I am 95% sure Toyota no longer sells New axles - just remanufactured units.
I'm an OEM fanboy when it makes sense but the much more cost-effective ($123 at Rock Auto today) TrakMotive HD/EXT axles are the new standard, it seems. Just my .02 though.

I'm an OEM fanboy as well, but I think this case is an exception - OEM axles were not designed for lifted trucks. I'd go with something designed for extended travel for lifted vehicles.
