Best audio situation... Bluetooth preferred

I'll try to keep this short...

I have this already...

Amazon.com: Griffin Technology BlueTrip AUX for iPhone and Smartphones: Cell Phones & Accessories

It works great, I mainly want it for music, don't need hands free (the quality sucks, from what people tell me).

I'm trying to figure out the best, and most cost effective way to get quality bluetooth connection to stream music from my iPhone, have zero visible wires and not have to turn a device on everytime I turn the truck on.

I have achieved all of this, minus the hidden wires... since I have to plug into the cigarette lighter. Since i have a 110v plug in the center console, i'm hoping this would solve my problems, and then some...

Amazon.com: AC Wall to DC Car and Dual USB Charger Converter - Includes 2 USB Ports and 1 12V Cigarette Lighter Port Ideal for Charging GPS, Phones, and More While at Home: Electronics

So I could contain it all within my center console, plus I'd have two USB ports to use for charger my wife, and my wife's.

Thoughts? I see the adapter has some mixed reviews... I'd literally be plugging nothing else into the adapter other than iphone/ipads and the one bluetooth adapter.

ANY information would be greatly appreciated! Or other suggestions too!

You could hard wire your power to the bottom of you cig lighter. On the inside and run you wires under the center console.

I ultimately had the same issue, and ended up going with this:

Amazon.com: USA SPEC BT35-TOY Toyota/Lexus OEM Radio Handsfree Bluetooth Add-On Adapter: Car Electronics

If i recall correctly, i found it online for a bit cheaper than what is in the link, and overall i am pretty happy with it. It uses one of the SAT inputs on the stock head unit, and will automatically switches from FM (or whatever other source you were listening to) to the SAT when a call comes in. The microphone cord is long enough to route it across to the pillar above the door - so you dont have to holler, and it plays through the stock speakers, obviously.

The music streaming works really well, but it is not top quality (sounds a bit hollow). So if i am looking for something loud and clear i will opt for the Aux input instead.

I'm happy with this option for the price. A new HU can be pretty inexpensive, but by the time you add the bluetooth modules, dash kit, amp adapter wanger and steering wheel controls module the price gets up there in a hurry.

I have the new pioneer avid-x850bt and its great, stream music via Bluetooth and its not that expensive around $600 new
