Best place to buy lift

There are numerous places (online and retail) where we can purchase a lift kit. What would people say is the best place to purchase? Besting pricing and options. I am pretty sure I am going with an Icon set up, but still trying to figure out the best place to buy. Probably waiting until a holiday deal would help also? Thoughts?

if you go with ICON i ordered mine though Total Automotive who is a supporting vendor on here. They gave me a good price, shipping was fast, and overall good experience.

It really depends on what lift you are going for. Probably the two most popular and highly rated that you will see on this forum are Toytec and Total Automotive. Both are also vendors here and offer member discounts.

If you're going with something more generic like Bilstein 5100s I would check out Jet.com. They have new customer deals that make prices unbeatable. However, I ended up going direct to Toytec since they are about 10 minutes from my house.

Other thing to consider is installation costs, if your not doing the install yourself. If you buys from the shop your installing at, they will cut you a break on the labor.

Call around for install fees. Than get a quote online, than call back and see if they can come close while giving you a decent install rate.

I'm new to T4R forums but coming from Jeep forums I have found that reaching out to the site vendors always led to best pricing and support. However you did not mention if you plan to install yourself. If you are looking for someone to install your best final dollar price will likely be to buy local.

If you can buy local and from a forum vendor that's a win/win

if youre not in a super rush i would see when there is an off road expo coming near you. by far the best prices. i did a lot of research online and going into stores and i still saved hundreds by going to an expo. i didnt plan on buying anything either but it was too good to pass up. obviously do your homework online because some things are cheaper online but they usually price match if something is more expensive on their end. good luck!

I've just ordered my second suspension package from Total Automotive. Service is great, communication is great, and they always bend over backwards to meet my requirements.

I'm in Canada and I order my stuff to a mailbox in the USA, cross the border and import the parts myself. TA has been helpful in preparing invoices per my requests for this endeavour. As for prices.... They're an email away. No need to wait for a group buy. It's been my experience that they will offer the most aggressive price if you ask them to.

There's always a bit of doubt when spending fairly large chucks of money online.... but I am always confident TA will deliver. Highly recommended.

Just some input for your consideration.

I bought my lift directly from ToyTec a while ago and I am huge fan of their customer support/service.

I was in a bit of a time crunch and a few days after I ordered, they called me saying part of the kit (the rear 5100s) were backordered and it would be a few extra weeks. I didn't have a few extra weeks and expressed my concern and they upgraded me to their ToyTec BOSS rear shocks, free of charge with expedited shipping. Really fantastic to deal with and I was definitely pleasantly surprised at their dedication to customer service!
