Best place to get an oil change?

I recommend your local stealership. Perhaps not the cheapest, but the'll at least do the job right, and also be sure to include a washer.
JiffyLube, Quiklube, and all the rest of those places are hard to trust. My next door neighbor a few months ago had to get a new oilpan, because some greasemonkey at JiffyLube stripped the bolt.

of cuz have the dealership get done the oil change. anything happened, you always can go back to them.
just a hence, go to elk grove toyota, they have a discount called "oil change gold card", you pay $99 or $100 and the card allow you to have 6 oil changes. divided by the calculation, you are only paying $16.66 per oil change from dealership, what a deal, i have 3 of those cards in my family. juffy lube can't even beat that price.

If you get the dealer to do that, your probably not gona get Mobil1 for $16.99. They usually use some type of dino oil, I believe the dealer near where I used to live used Valvoline.
Best price for a full synthetic oil change is your own driveway.....

not to mention my buddy's 3 of his MKIV supra TT have oil change in elk grove toyota also (chris, the internet sales i introduced you when you deciding to buy your 4R, remember). so i would not say they use some really crappy oil at all.

I have to chime in here and totally disagree with the stealership idea. DO IT YOURSELF . After the nightmare described in the thread below I started doing it myself. After the first few times it takes about a half hour with a quick drain plug installed. That's less time than going somewhere and waiting. Pick up the oil from Wal-Mart when you're already there for other reasons. I've been using Mobile 1 Synthetic oil and Mobile 1 filters (filters from Autozone), changing every 5000 miles, checking it almost every time I buy gas.

THANKS everyone for your input
after hearing everyone's input, i'm gonna try it myself this saturday. That jiffy lube youtube video was horrific. And a friend of mine who was skimming thru other car forums (in this case, a Toyota Avalon forum), read one poster's claim that one dealership was found to put in THEIR own oil when you bring them YOUR oil to put in (keeping your expensive synthetic oil for themselves).
way too many horror stories, i'm just going to do it myself. It's something i should learn to do anyway, especially since this will be my 4R's first oil change
btw, thanks to those who suggested WALMART -- i returned those 6-qt's for $40 from Kragen, and bought the big 5-qt jug + 1-qt from Walmart for just under $30 :bigok:
