Best suspension/lift kit for around $1k? (Yes I've researched)

I didn't read what anyone else recommended but from my previous experience and long history with lifting/off-roading Tacomas, Land Cruisers and 4Runners is that you can't go wrong with OME, Bilstein and/or Eibach (my current 4R). If you go above 2.75" make sure to replace the UCA. SPC (Light Racing) is the best bang for your buck for that choice. GL

Replacing UCA on 4runner with lift

I have read here in numerous threads that lifts of 3+ should include a UCA replacement. So this seems straight forward, my question is, in a perfect world would it be beneficial to upgrade the UCA for lifts below 3 inches? Let say 2 to 3 inches lifts.

if you want caster in the 3.5 degrees+ range with other alignment specs smack in the middle (which you do) then answer is yes in most cases
