Hella 4000 LED Lights
"LED lighting is quickly gaining popularity based on its minimal power consumption, compact parameters, and diode longevity. The drawback haunting LED driving lamps was a lack of illumination depth. LEDs were great for foreground illumination but lacked the hail-mary, football field depth of HID lighting. At least, that was the case until Hella introduced the new Rallye 4000 LED Driving Lamps. We were fortunate enough to get our hands on a set for our 2011 Tacoma. Installation was a breeze thanks to the extremely lower power consumption that negates the usual relays, thick gauge wiring, and ballasts required by HID’s. And, unlike HID’s, Hella’s LED lamps have 100% of their illumination from the second they are engaged. No more waiting for HID’s to warm up. In our own experience, these lights are brilliant! The LED’s provide fantastic foreground and shoulder coverage without sacrificing that crucial long-distance night penetration. Not to mention, the ancillary DRL diodes make the lights look very cool just running around town."
