New hardware! 1.5" 4crawler BL.

Just out of curiosity, what is your reasoning for adding a 1.5" BL? Do you need extra clearance for your existing tires or do you plan on going to larger tires soon? Do you just like the look?

Extra clearance is by far the biggest issue. I stuff the heck out of the rear end, to the point that i am loosing travel. I have taken a BFH to the pinch weld, but that is my limit to beating on the body. I may step up one size in tire with the next set, that will be determined upon how well my current set up clears and what sort of clearance i have left at complete compression.

I think you ment to say axle to frame contact. And no haven't dealt with that yet. Tires and wheel well get all the contact.

Hanma lights are doing great. I wish I would have bought a light bar as well. That was a great group buy.

no, I actually did mean to ask about body-to-frame contact... the CBI rear bumper thread led me to wonder...

I think you are asking about BODY to BUMPER contact when the truck is crossed up and fully articulated. Brian doesnt have a rear carrier last time i saw his truck, so he wouldn't have any issues in the rear since the factory bumper is mounted to the body and doesnt get subjected to frame and body flex like aftermarket frame mounted bumpers.

Brian, I wish i could make it to the Jambo man, I will be half a world away working on planes for Uncle Sam. Tell everyone i hate that i am missing out on the fun! Hopefully next year or maybe we can schedule a badass trip when i get back this late fall or early winter.

Nathan - First off thank you for your service, no big deal about Jambo, you have much more important things going on. I will pass the word to fellow Texans. On another note there is a chance I am going to be putting together a group run out to Cloudcroft since TOTH is out for a year. Probably going to try and hit it about the same time of year, possibly a bit later to enjoy some of that cool mountain air. I have a uncle with a bunch of property just down the road from the camp of the tall pines turn off. Ill keep you posted on the progress of the trip. Definitely have to get you and collin out for some desert runs.

Yeah no issues in the back yet. but I do have some contact happening on the front that I want to get worked out when i do the body lift.

Body Lift installed - Process was super simple. Not nearly as hard as i expected it to be. Rag joint and radiator drop brackets were a bit cumbersome.

Quite a bit milder amount of lift than i had expected. I was really torn between the 1" and 1.5" BL. All in all I'm glad I went with the 1.5" as it gives my bumper a good bit of breathing room at the fender. My ODL bumper has been rubbing here since i put it on.

Next step is to throw the spidertrax back on to balance out the width with the added height.

Got to do a little "test your flex" this weekend. Since the body lift I had installed the front sway bar links to the rear end and reinstalled the the 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers to accommodate the 1.5" body lift, really liking the stance now. Got 20/21" of articulation both front and rear, with zero rubbing.
I am very pleased.

Did some serious switch relocations today to am much more appropriate place. Found the panel via Tacoma world.

Before(old pic I had done a bit better job of the install with a couple of 3gang clusters in this location.

Got the Vision X Tantrum Light kit installed. Probably going to ditch the tantrum module but for now that is what it is wired up with.

Anyway, Brian, get that thing mounted up already! Then get Deryck to evaluate whether or not he and i need to retrofit the new latch in place of the giant bolt closure.
