Bilstein 5100 Question

Quick Question, I'm looking to get the 5100's to take care of body roll and forward rake. Whats the adjustability increments on the fronts? And will they take care of the forward rake with the stock springs?

yes you can use your stock springs

i think most people use 1.75 to level. i'm not sure, seems most lift the back too. i went 1.75 in front and 1.5 in the back via a spacer and kept some rake.

Thanks. I've been searching so much my head hurts. I want to better the body roll, without lifting the whole truck (I'd love to, but my 5'3" wife disagrees) So at best I can level the front up and make it a little more solid feeling without ticking the wife off. If the front to 1.75 and back at stock will take care of it, then perfect.

Actually I believe the highest setting is 2.5" And if you don't do something to raise the back to match don't forget to reset your headlights. I went with 1.75" on the front and nothing in the back and my high beams were pointing at the trees. 1.75" front and 0 rear will give you a body leveled look, but a slight reverse rake if you use the frame as your reference. This is mine at the dealer right after that setup.

Below: 5100s front set at 2.5" and a 1.5" Daystar spacer w/ 285/70/17 17x8 ET0 offset wheels. All stock coils. Lot not leveled.

Awesome info, thanks guys. I'm thinking I'll probably split the difference, go with a 1.5" setting in the front just to give it a little extra firmness and 0" in the back. I don't want the frame to be reverse raked so we'll see where that puts me. Thanks so much guys.

I agree, but a nice front mounted winch bumper will fix that!
