i'm trying to figure out why people go with Spidertrax so much? Why not get the different offset wheels? what am I missing?

Looks really nice... I just PM'd you with a quick couple of questions. I'm about to do most of the same, but might just change up my course of action to this... I'll have some decisions to make.

I was expecting a stiffer ride but I would say it's almost as smooth as the stock suspension. The brake dive is almost eliminated and the car hardly rolls during cornering like it did before. However, you do get a bit more wind noise during highway speeds. While the suspension was being installed, I did the front liner mod for added insurance since the car was already up. Very easy to do and no rubbing noticed. For anyone wanting to do the max setting on the 5100s I highly suggest it and glad I did instead of the 1.75" setting.

I really like the wheels I got. Only reason why I went with spacers. I think it's more so for asthetics as its pleasing to the eyes with the wider offset.

spidertrax... for me, it's all about cost vs wants... I'm happy with the stock rims. In fact, I prefer a more "stock looking" set-up with just the right amount of changes to my preferences. For me, less rake/more level stance... and a wider stance as well. But the TE already has a slightly wider stance than my other two previous 4R's, so I may just leave as-is. But the spidertrax is a great option for only a few hundred bucks.

Factory rear at 36".

Stock front at 35"

Looks good man. FYI your pics in post 2 and 3 are the same picture. The reflections are the same and the measurement for the front you say is 35 but on the stick reads 36". But sweet looking rig. Can't wait to see it with some new tread.

It was tightened by hand first then torque wrenched for reassurance.

Looks Good. Youre gonna need to trim the front bumper a lot and remove mud flaps so you're not rubbing. Well, at least thats what I had to do ;-)
