How long did the install take?
looks great!
i just installed 4 bilsteins at 1.75" with a 1" cornfed rear spacer. have the spidertrax 1.25" but have yet to install them (this weekend).
posting a (crappy quality...) before and after profile and front, also for use as comparison between the OPs 2.5"/1.5" and my 1.75"/1"
gains after alignment (measured on full tank) = 1.75" front and 1.25" rear, 0.25" lower front and back driver side
Edit: added an after front-pic with the spidertrax installed, so now in order of stock vs bilsteins vs bilsteins/spidertrax
Hey codyHTX did you do a Differential Drop? How is the lift working out for you?
no diff drop installed. my stock angles were slightly negative to begin with (cv joint lower at diff than at wheel) and now they are just slightly positive, done some decently aggressive wheeling a couple of times and haven't had anything explode yet!
for the amount of street/hwy driving I do vs time spent off road the lift is appropriate and with 265 C-rated tires it feels pretty darn close to stock around town. the stock springs seem too soft tho. I plan on + sizing the tires and replacing front/rear springs when the 265's wear out down the road.
if i did it again right now, i would might go with shocks and coils right off the bat even if i wanted to stick with 265 BFGs
A question on wheel spacers. With other offroad vehicles I have owned, wheel spacers were generally not recommend due to the added stress they can place on front end components.
Here is seems folks support their use. Can any help me understand the difference? Thanks!
I am also thinking of going with Bilstein 5100's @ 1.75"F + 1"R Cornfed Spacer with 275/70/17 BFG KO2.
I agree with thebwlife setup.
Here is a comparison picture of the two to better see the difference.
