Bilstein 5100 w/Eibach Springs

Got the springs and shocks today. After doing a bunch of reading, I think I am even more confused on which setting the Bilstein 5100s should be set at with the Eibach springs. So far I have read the bottom setting or the middle setting. I know the springs alone are supposed to give 1.6" of lift. Looking for around 2.5" to 3" lift. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.:plane:

I ran this setup for a good while. I was sitting at 36.8 inches at the fender on 265/70 tires. That was on the LOWEST setting. I wasn't interested in added any pre-load to the springs. The setup ran great with no additional weight up front... it had a nice ride and handled well.

I added a shrockworks bumper and a winch later and it lowered it about .5 inches but the ride suffered a lot - it was very harsh. Switched to the Old Man Emu setup and it's riding good again.
 
Going to wait and call Toytec on Monday especially since they sent me the wrong rear springs and one rear shock wrong. Definitely a pro now at removing and installing the XREAS system with no loss. Thanks for the inputs.
 
Arguably if you add the lift amounts together you'll get close. The four positions on the front Bilsteins are 0", 0.8", 1.5" and 2" of lift respectively. Add 3.6" or whatever the Eibachs have and you'll be pretty close, up to the maximum extension supported by the shocks.

And new springs will settle some, so if you have a choice between .5" high and .5" low, go high.

second notch (.85) is the highest you can go w the eibach springs. i ran that set up for a few thousands miles and it was noticeably stiffer then stock but still a comfy ride.

like mentioned above, the set up rides and performs good for a stock weight vehicle. when i add the BB hidden winch mount + winch and sliders the front it dropped.

ETA i believe i was at 2.5" w this set up.

Thanks for the replies. Got the springs, struts, and shocks installed yesterday. Went with the second notch and everything leveled out pretty well. Definitely happy with the ride quality, better than XREAS, and the height.

Oh how did I know that was coming. Here you go.

Rear springs are: 2" Rear Lift "Superflex" coil springs. They haven't completely settled yet so they are a little high.

They were rebuilt and transferred over by discount tire when I had the wheels and tires mounted. Cost sub 50.

I did do the UCA and got the +4 degrees of caster that I wanted. Drives great and no longer wanders. Alignment was done at firestone and they had no problem honoring lifetime warranty.
 
Looks great! Any chance you happened to measure roughly how much lift you achieved front and rear with that spring combo?
