Bilstein 60mm BTS System

Did Bilstein ever come up with correct lift dimensions for the 6112 system? Or is everyone still just "winging it?"

need help purchasing 6112s -06 V8 LTD w Rear air suspension

after all the research ive done and reviews from here and T120, i decided to get the 6112's to replace my xreas. If i have the factory Rear air suspension, do i have to switch the airbags over to coils in order to use the 6112s?

initially i was going to gut it all and do the work once, but then i figured that the air bags still work, and id save the money and just replace the rear shocks with 5100s and leave the air bags until they fail and then replace with coils. It seems though that the RAS isn't compatible for some reason or am i mistaken?

Might want to check in the 4th gen sub-forum. AFAIK the 5th Gen does not have an Air Suspension option so we won't have any experience at all with the system.

Guess what! Bilstein has updated the 6112 for the 4runner and has released new 3rd Gen Coilovers, part number 47-258624. Want them? I know where to get them.

We finally came out with a few more 6112 Kits including the one for your truck. We are also releasing a revised 4th & 5th gen 4Runner which has staggered snap ring grooves, plus we are releasing a 3rd gen 4 Runner 6112 kit.

Interesting ... Bilstein should have done this in the first place.

I must say that I'm very happy with my 6112/5160 set-up though..

They are always trying to improve! Glad to hear you are liking your 6112s!

Chas, do you know if the new numbers Bilstein is posting for lift height are correct/more accurate or are they still off by ~3/4 - 1" (i.e. 1st circlip was supposed to yield .5" but most people got about 1.25" and the 2nd circlip was yielding about 2" vs. the 1" listed)?

Per Bilstein these settings are much more accurate, but will vary slightly (not as much as before) depending on trim level and options.

We should have the new 6112 in stock in 2-3 weeks. We are stocked up on the current model and there is no performance difference other than the extra height settings for those who dont want to wait :)
