Completed my install this morning, just need to get it aligned tomorrow (FYI, Firestone is doing $30 off a lifetime alignment until the 7th right now).
I did the install with KDSS so here are my lessons learned:
For the front, I put both clips in the top notch, and both sides are sitting at 37".
I ratcheted up my KDSS piston, in order to do the no spring compressor method. Re-attaching the KDSS took about 5 with two ratchet straps.
I used the jack nuts recommended by VmaxEngage (Post #230). I found them at Ace hardware for $0.99 a piece and used a 7/16" bit to enlarge the hole. I used a home made "friction wrench" and was able to screw them in pretty easy.

It took 5 minutes, or 5 guys? lol.
I was amazed too, the KDSS turned out to be a small footnote in the job.
The key is to ratchet strap it while all 4 wheels are on the ground. When you return the wheels to the ground the passanger bracket falls right in place. Drive side requires another ratchet strap to close the distance and screw right in.
Are these still on sale for a 2018 TRD Offroad 4Runner w/o KDSS? If so, does anyone have a link?
I want to make sure I'm ordering the right thing. Every keeps talking about how great of a deal it is, but the links only show about $23 off. Please help clear this up for me.

Thanks for that link. I knew folks were talking about it being heavily discounted, but most links only showed the $23 off like in your first link and being for shocks only. That's where my confusion was coming from.

Bought this kit for my new T4R 3 days off the lot. Install was straightforward. Used the KYB top hats link a few pages back. Don't have the exact measurements in front of me, but it was right an inch lift up front.

Just pulled the trigger on these from Frank Motors on eBay. Even though I am local to Frank in San Diego, it would’ve been $570 to pick up. I ended up getting them for $530 shipped with the coupon code on eBay right now which is 15% off. The code is “PMAY4TH” and it ends tonight at 7:00 PM PST.

You have the exact same setup as I do, I like how yours turned out and I’m nervous about adding the front spacer and rear coils for a 2.25/1.5” lift now
