I've only had it on for a week since I installed it. I really like the slimline look and barely any road noise. They messed up and sent me the air deflector w/o light bar cutouts but I'm waiting on them to fix issue. The rack is really sturdy and I'm sure a lot of weight can go on it.

KYB Top hat same for 2014 and 2016?

Last piece of the puzzle. I'd like to prebuild the coil overs for my 2016 SR5. Guys on here are recommending the KYB SM5640 on Amazon.

The fit guide says it is only good to 2014. I assume this is an error but wanted to check to see if there was a change for 2015+

It seems like it shouldn't rub with OEM size tires and backspacing. Was the caster not set right?

These instructions for the FJ kit seem more complete than the ones for the 4Runner kit.
I didn't ask about the caster setting. Should i get an alignment?

After sitting on kit for a couple of month, I finally had a local shop ins5all on my 2018 ORP with KDSS. A few weeks ago, installed the KYB top hats and set circliips on upper setting, but haven’t had time to complete job. I provided the SAE jack nuts mentioned in an early post.
Results were tremendous. Handling and ride is much more controlled. The suspension allows front end to cut into turns without drama. KDSS never allowed much body roll, but Nose dive is gone Very balanced.

So which spring would be better to buy to get a 2.5" total lift from stock with this kit for the front;
A - 15" spring with 600 lbs
B - 14" spring with 650 lbs
C - 15" spring with 650 lbs
Note: Stock weight upfront

Don't forget to order them off amazon.ca not amazon.com, and yes they fit, just put these on my 2018.

No one makes off the shelf 15” springs.
The closet are 14” with 650lb or 700lb. I’m not sure how much lift either of these give though.

I work at a company that makes and buy springs all the time. I am sure I can find a 15" spring with 3" ID and a 600-700lbs spring rate but will it work?
I think it might be too risky at the moment

I'd be a little concerned that a 15" spring might over-extend the shock, leaving only a little room for down travel from the resting settled position. A 700lb coil seems really heavy to run without a bumper as well. Either way, I'd say you've got a recipe for a poor ride going that high with this kit. Just my $0.02.
