ahhhhhh freaking sweet!!!
so what cha think so far? isnt the lightcage badass??
Thanks, I am loving the rack thus far, it is built really well.
Your rig is one of my favorites as well, it will be interesting to see what comes next!
Yeah it is definitely badass, I love it. It does give a bit of wind noise, but that is expect and between my tires, exhaust and that- who cares?
How are you liking the other accessories for the rack? All I currently have is the hi-lift mount.
awesome looking truck man! i got a question, the front light bar, on their site it only lists it for the 06-09's. do you know if it works on the 03-05's as well? i only ask because you said you were the test vehicle for it, so maybe you have a little more info on it. also is that the factory skid plate for the tacoma, or is that a 4runner part?
again, though, VERY bad ass truck.
Can you post some pictures of how you mounted the rack to the roof? Ive scanned through the post but cant quite see what you did for the mount. Also how far forward would the rack have come if you didnt add the light bar attachment? Ive been wanting to get one but want one but am not sure i want the wind noise and the height with it being on the factory rails.
All in all your truck looks great and its good to see you putting it to use.

I have the same rack and the rack mounts directly into the factory holes. You have to remove the factory rack, and the bajarack then fits perfectly into the holes that the factory rack sat in. (Installation is a breeze)
The rack goes a little less than halfway across the sunroof without the light bar. (I can still open my sunroof)
I have very mininal road noise, and the height is about 7.5in from the roof to the top of the rack.
Very cool stuffs. I love it.
Blair,
You don't have the Defiant light bar anymore or is my eyes playing tricks on me?
Also, have any pics of your rig with the Bajarack on it?
what is the Reinforced front diff backet? I take mine on really tight trails between a lot of trees, nothing open like in Cali. I have only dropped down on a few rocks and do a lot of mud (AL mud is a clay mud mix, really slick and sticks to everything haha) so is this a good mod for me? Also what is the plastic cutting board stuff you are putting all over the bottom?Well since you ask....
1. HDPE (basically the plastic cutting boards are made of, but thicker) skid plates to place over the stock ones
2. New Lower Control Arms in the Rear (its only a matter of time before I bend one of mine)
3. Reinforced front diff backet (its a weak point on our vehicles and if you wheel them hard for years they can break, which causes $2k+ in damage)
4. Dif Drop Kit (to take away a little stress on the CV's)
5. HAM Radio/APRS Tracker
6. Replacing the roof lights with the larger Hella 700FF's (8.5" compared to the current 6")
7. Duel Battery and a Fridge
8. Maybe a 1/2" body lift, so I stop rubbing the top of the fenders under full compression
9. Internal Winch Mount in the Front Bumper
10. Who knows.....
Also, are you ordering a Shrockworks bumper? I have about 3-4 weeks left before mine gets here, I cant wait!I took it off when I did my body lift. It doesn't line up after the BL and I did not feeling like trying to fab anything up.
I will be ordering a bumper soon, so I should have a new point to mount my lights when it arrives.
