Do the front dash blanks fit the center blanks.

Want to move DAC switch to front and take the blank one out and put it in the center.

Yes they do and I just did the same exact mod. You basically have to run 4 wires (yes, the DAC switch has 4 wires!) between the two locations and then wire it up. Looks great and works perfectly.

BTW, the reason I moved my DAC switch is because I installed my Bluetooth display/control in that spot where I had the other two switch blanks for the seat heaters.

I believe 1 set is for the DAC system and the other set is for the light (that lights up the button).

Couldn't I pull the wiring out of the loom/harness ( I presume there is one and reroute them to the front instead of splicing wires ?

How difficult is removing the console ? I can't see where it unbolts.

Unfortunately, the DAC wires are bundled with a bunch of other wires, so it would probably be a major pain in the ass to reroute the original wires.

To take a look, just open up your armrest (center console lid) and use your fingers to pull straight up on the edges of the plastic piece that surrounds the shifter. It snaps right out in 2 seconds and will give you a look at the wiring underneath. Give it a try....you don't even need any tools. Don't be afraid to pull it hard (but just make sure you're pulling it UP)

I'll give it a try tuesday , thanks ES.

Should I disconnect the battery ? If so just the negative or both ?

Then I will have to reset moonroof / auto window feature correct ?

OK thanks , hopefully Thursday . I'm going to do the constant on power point mod too right away since I'll be in there anyway.
