Blendmount for an Escort system - Problems

I am curious for those who have used a Blendmount system to mount their detectors, which one did you use, and how did you do it? I ask this because I have a pesky power/video cable that runs down the bottom of shaft that the blendmount should go. If this wire were more towards the side (or slack so I could move it there) I could get the rings to slide around it, but with it on the bottom and the design of the mount it will compress on the wires, not good. I spoke to a rep on the phone, they were very nice, forwarded him the photos below to see if they had any thoughts. Is there additional slack if when I pull the other covers to access my power?

Most people are either the LE or TE with the NAV screen, meaning no video in the mirror, or SR5's without the cam option in the mirror.

It is pulled to the side. It is there, the mount fits right under it.

Ok....I received my belendmount & my 8" tap wire yesterday, very nice! It took no time at all to install, I was able to push that wire to the side far enough to get the bracket to slip under it. The 8" tap wire was just the perfect length, another inch shorter and it would not have worked and the 12" would have had too much slack. I LOVE it where it is mounted now. The best part of all this....NO more 12v wires anywhere in my 4R, so clean and nice now! I will post pics here (and send a few to blendmount as I promised I would send them a few as well for the final install).

I will say, the customer service at blendmount was great! There was a problem with the shipping (lost/delayed) and they instantly shipped another one, same day! I have had very few companies do this before so quickly, so 5 stars on that for them!

I too wanted to do this and was unsure about fitment with the video cable.
However... my radar is older (only reason its in the 4runner is cause i have it) and the mirror power tap wire only has the telephone plug

Glad it worked and the photo helped. I love my BlendMount. I ran the Escort hardwire kit with the silence button through the headliner, A-pillar, and hardwired it to the back of the cigarette lighter.
