blew my head gasket yesterday.. looking to put a cam in it while it's apart...

hi everybody, well my head gasket finally went.. 150k on it. i was expecting it to go soon so i already have all the gaskets and a master rebuild kit. i tore the motor apart yesterday, and i got to thinkin why dont i put a cam and bigger valves in it while i got her apart.

my question is how much do cams cost for a 4 runner, does anybody know how to contact weasy about getting a cam (i hear he's the best). i'm trying to figure out if it's worth the money to put in larger valves and a cam.

Don't know what year you have, but I have a LCE Cam for a 22RE new in box i'd sell for a good deal.

I LOVED my old LC Engineering EFI Head and EFI Cam with Tri-Y headers on my old 87 T4R. Made that 22RE a whole different motor IMO with a nice broad powerband. I previously used a Downey cam and some non-matched 4-to-1 headers, and the power-band sucked IMO (had to get past 4K to get much out of it). Granted the LC Engineering EFI Head had a lot to do with it (had oversized stainless valves) - but the LC Engineering Cam worked well IMO...
