Blew my rear end, what next?

Ok, so imm going down the highway and truck starts shuddering violently. pull over and get it towed. Was in 2wd and still shifts. Sounds like rear end. I figure I will get a 3rd from a boneyard ($275) and just swap it. Question: should I throw a spartan/aussie locker in while its apart, or wait until i have more wheeling experience as I have seen suggested on these here posts? Or something entirely different? Not confident enough to retro a factory E-locker in so don't bother mentioning! HA!

Bolt(s) came loose? Defective part? When something happens in such close proximity to work done in the same area just a couple days before, hard not to suspect! Hopefully that's all it really is!

God damn you for being right! Just went out to take a pic to prove you guys wrong. Had backed her up into the driveway to make room. Noticed just now that 1 cap has come off! Didnt notice it before due to dark and bad one was facing up. Thats why i post crap here! I always go to the worst case scenario. Ok, humble pie could use some hot sauce...
