yes, you'll wire to where your blinker light is and splice them. Unless it has integrated turn signal inside the mirror housing, then it makes the wiring routing easier.

If anyone has had success doing this please speak up. I don't do wiring, but I suspect we can wire into the cabin at the fuse box or forward to the turn signal wire. I've looked for wiring diagrams but haven't found anything useful yet. I am doubting the dealer would do this work, so possibly a trusted shop that does wiring, as an alternative....

I sold my Rav4's and replaced with these. The Rav4's blindspot mirror is not only extremely small, but it's virtually unusable compared to the Sumas. The Sumas are convex and the entire mirror acts as the blindspot mirror. I can not only see vehicles next to me, but I can see vehicles 3 and 4 lanes over, they're above and beyond the Rav4's in every way

Does the mirror allow you to see the ground next to the tires as well as the edge of the roof? I have used the little round blind spot mirrors on every one of my trucks over the years and like being able to see where things are along the whole side without having to move the mirror.

Does anyone know what make the BSM mirror different physically? Will the mirror with BSM fit on a 2020 4runner limited that does not have BSM? Suma has those mirrors in stock just wondering if they will work on mine.

they will work, but not the BSM. They will just fit in the housing and you'll have an extra wire not connected.

They will fit, since the 4Runners don't come with the Blind Spot Monitoring you can't connect it. I got the heated/turn signal blind spot mirrors and mine came with the BSM wires and have the indicators built in, the Rav4 mirrors come with the BSM indicators too. I've had both and don't even notice that the BSM icons are there on either mirror and I'm super OCD.
