I'm trying to remove the entire blower unit/assembly from my '05 by following the step in the Toyota Repair Manual. I got to the last part (c) of the last step (13) which says "Release the claw fitting and remove the blower assembly". For the life of me, I can't find the claw fitting and I can't get the assembly to come out.
The image of the claw fitting appears to points to the upper left side of the unit, an area that doesn't have anything nor is it attachd to anything. I can't find any claw fittings and I can't tell where it's hung up (to give me an idea of where the fitting might be). Anyone pulled the blower unit before and know where the heck the stupid claw fitting is and how to get it out?
