I just got a new phone that is blue tooth capable. I have a 06 SR5. What can I buy to do hands free operation or should I just use a bluetooth earpiece?

most people seem to be using motorola or parrot. I recently installed the IHF1000 and it works very well. This has been discussed a lot here. good luck searching....

I have the non JBL stock stereo that came in my 06 SR5. Do these car kits hook up to my speakers as well? If so , will I have any operational limitations or will it operate the same as a facory install?

Take a look at the Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS. It has bluetooth built in.

Only the Nav system has the Bluetooth functionality. The Nav system is JBL.

I guess I'm not expressing my question to clearly or at least not understanding the responses. Is there a nav system with bluetooth that will work with my NON JBL (stock sr5) radio that will work thru my car speakers similar to the factory nav system?

Not that I am aware of. You would have to upgrade the stock system to an OEM or Aftermarket head unit with Nav and Bluetooth capability. The only add on are for inputs only (like IPOD/MP3), but you would lose music functionality when you switch to that input (i.e. input for MP3 would use the headphone/audio out jack of a GPS system, but you would lose that functionality when switching to a music input like the tuner/CD).
