Just had my new 2018 4R cover in clear flim to protect the front bumper, hood, headlights, fog lights, mirrors, all 4 fenders, door handle pockets, sill, rear cargo door, and rear bumper. They did an awesome job. I wish I had done sooner after 5 days of owning it the front bumper had a scratch from the parking lot.
Transhine of whittier are the best.

Unless it was actively on fire I don't think I'd notice if something happened to my 4runner in a parking lot.

What rock sliders are these?
These are not really rock sliders. They look like them. I put them on for more protection from door dings. I also use them to step into my 4runner. I think the finish on them look awesome. Much better than a lot I have seen. Just go to amazon and put in Tyger side bars and it will come up.
Damn. Why can't anyone make a pair of rock sliders that also look good?

Just curious, what is your definition of something along the rocker trim that looks good?
Are they supposed to have lights and chrome and fugly steps welded/bolted to them to look good?
There are enough fabricators out there building different designs you would think the one of 30 would be acceptable

I would like something that's slim to the body, has something that can be used as a step, and matte black powder coated.
For example, I really like the NFab steps. I have them on my 4runner currently, but want to put something more functional on there. If there are sliders that look close to those I'd be all over them.
Other than that the closest ones I've seen to something I like so far are the SSO ones.

I like the look of your Tyger Bars. How difficult were they to put on and where did you buy them? When I looked at their website, they didn't list 4Runners.

Have you looked around much? Off the top of my head, at least a half dozen fab shops that build exactly that. I have a set of Shrockworks step sliders, yes SSO, BudBuilt, RCI, Demello X-wings, C4Fab, etc.

Thank you!! Yeah I’m very happy with them. Not hard to put on. Just use the factory holes. They come with all the hardware. I bought them from amazon. They maybe out of stock.
Has anyone come with or seen a solution for protecting the rear window sill? What I am thinking about is the scenario where I need to have something long sticking out the window and resting on that sill. Don't want to get it all scratched up
Maybe a length of carpet or foam that could just be flipped over to protect the sill?
