body lift

Do a 1.5 and call it a day. scroll up a few posts to show the tools I listed to do it. It's super easy I swear you could do it in your driveway.

well im still undecided on the sellin of it... now im thinking just hell with it and sell it and get another 03 4x4 and start all over... i mean my suspension kinda sucks anyways im just living with the harsh ride... i would probably do a 1.5'' BL and a toytec ultimate kit just cause the coilovers are maintenance free, maybe even ARB to save some money. at this point i really dont care that i put in a good bit of cash and now im selling it. ill just live with the mistake and my next one will be done RIGHT

I did the 1.5" body lift from 4crawler on my 2002 by myself, and the first time I had ever done one or seen one done. Fairly straight forward. You will need either a hi-lift jack or some other type to lift the side of the body off the body mounts. On the 1.5", you will need to do the steering shaft extension as well which was probably the biggest PITA. You will also need to decide what you are going to do regarding your bumper. Brackets are available from 4crawler to accommodate the bumper lift.

I really have nothing to say regarding the discussions that took place between the original post and my reply other than I felt like I was reading some of the texting and e-mails that go back and forth from my teenage son and some of his friends. Whoever did what to who, get over it and move on.

Actually that was a "hypothetical analogy" - even though we do look at the kiddos' facebook and myspace accounts periodically. Guess I have too much cop in me and don't trust what all goes on out there in the net-working world - I have unfortunately seen the bad side of some of it.
