Hey guys so I purchased a Hi-Lift Jack since we do some off-roading and then quickly realized I had no where on the vehicle to use it w/o doing some nice damage. I would like to kill 2 birds with one stone and get rock sliders for protection and also be able to use as jack points for the Hi-Lift. So I see all the different vendors and have messaged them for answers. I'd also like to see if anybody on here has sliders they have used to jack up the vehicle. Thanks!

I do not want to hijack this thread, but since we are talking sliders, does anyone have a suggestion for sliders that are as functional for a "step up" as the running boards are? I have three little children and they require a "step up" to access my Runner but it seems like most of the sliders that I have seen available are nothing but a steel tube (which, of course, make for a lousy platform).

For sliders, also look at 4x4Innovations. I got mine for $277 shipped, been thrashing them at Rausch Creek in PA without any damage to them (besides the unavoidable scratches from them sliding over rock). Mine are HREW, shipped as bare metal weld-on and from what I recall the DOM sliders aren't much more expensive.

Do you mean ones that stick out further from the body, or ones that have a dropped step on them?
I'm sure you could contact any of the manufacturers like CBI, Demello, ShrockWorks, ect. and see if they can extend a set for you to use as steps (a lot of people use skateboard grip tape and/or rhino liner for better grip on the tops.)
Good to hear. I can get Demellos's bolt on for a bit cheaper than the others mentioned in this thread and avoid shipping costs. Hopefully get email replies tomorrow from all of them and make a decision. As Preacher asked sliders that could double as a type of step up would be perfect. I'll ask the vendors tomorrow and let everyone know what I hear back and eventually decide. Any more input from members would be greatly appreciated.

I use them as step-ups all the time. Very high quality sliders and I worked it out with John to pick them up directly from his place in Apple Valley to save on shipping.

I have not but they're extremely sturdy and I have no concerns about using them with a hi-lift jack.
