Bolts for Running Boards

(Searched but couldn't find this info specifically, let me know if i missed it)

So I pulled off my running boards and the bolts are in pretty bad shape, so I'd like to replace them. I went to HD and Lowes and looked for them, it looks like they are 8mm x 1.25, and are 2 different lengths (25mm and 35mm, i think) The catch is that the bolts have indented ends, and I cant find those anywhere. Can I just use any bolts? Are there specific ones that I should use? Anywhere specific to buy replacements? What do you guys think?

I don't think the indent in the end matters. I would just take them to an auto parts store and they should be able to fix you up. HD and Lowes usually don't have much in the way of metric.

picked some up from NAPA and im gonna throw them in tomorrow with some loctite and call it a day
