Bought a 2010.... Q’s..

Hi all, had a 2003 for 9 yrs (251,000), sold to my father....

Few questions please....

1.) Any oddities to know about the 2010 SR5 v6?

2.) I raised/leveled my 2003 with adjustable bilsteins and worked well.... any advice for the 2010?

3.) Any other good mods to consider?

I have a 2013, no problems, no issues. No dealer repairs.

I used Bilstein 5100s in front set to 0.85 to level and 5100 in the rear plus air bags. OK unless you want more lift to go to 285 tires. Towed a few times and the airbags keep it level.

Mods - there are a lot to see on this forum. Very good ideas and info. Start with the sticky section at the top. Invest wisely to finance the work and enjoy.

Only problem I see here is that you sold it your father. I would’ve gave it to my old man.

Carista app with Bluetooth dongle to setup computer the way you want. At least this worked on my 2018.

I turned off seatbelt buzzers and made some other changes. I purchased the one week license then helped the various Toyotas in my family.


I like the 2010 Sr5's. They have the manual transfer case.
