Brake Noise?

Ok, I have searched and thought I found the answer, I am not sure.

Every time I brake I hear air and a squeek, kind of like the power brakes are not fully sealed. I believe I read that this is a common 4runner thing, but again searching multiple posts and getting "Kinda" the answer you are looking for is not a direct answer.

Spec's: 2016 trail Premium, Approx 3000 miles. Noise has been there since day 1 but it is now at the point I have to turn up the radio to not hear it.

When you press your brake in a quiet suv, do you hear a noise? Does it sound like a air leak?

I had to cancel my appt w/dealership because the only day they had open was Thursday and well I'm Irish and.......:tea: I have other plans for 3/17

I hear this also in my 2014 TE. Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. I think it's just a thing with the brakes. Some people hear it and some don't, for example, my girlfriend hears it like I do and my roommate doesn't. Just one of those things.

Tons of threads on this, so no worries. I've got 2016 TEP w/ 1500 miles and it makes the exact sound. I kinda like it. Actually, I'm growing to like all the awesome sounds it makes ;)

Thanks for the reply!. I did not make it far enough back when I searched brake pedal noise....I stopped at page 6 of my search results....It's a good read and now I have to go adjust my blinker to see if it will stop...
