Brake Parts - How many pins, clips and springs?

I'm getting ready to change the front brakes on my 4th Gen. I've done front brakes before, but was lucky to find a 4th gen specific step by step write up here on the forum.

The write up referenced pins, clips, and and M springs, and even listed the part numbers. My question is, how many of each do you need?

In addition, what can I expect to pay for a set (both sides) of Toyota front pads? Anyone find a recent deal?

you should be able to get an afternarket kit for the front pins,bushings,springs, all that for less than $25, this was just a quick search but this kit doesn't include bushings,Advance Auto Parts: Disc Brake Hardware Kit by USA Brake - Part 15759A. and y toyota pads? you can get pads just as good if not better for less $$

What bushings are you all referring to? I did my brakes a few months back and other than the hardware kit Presta24 noted there are no other parts needed. Except for the pads and rotors of course.

btw what is your plan for the rotors? Buy new or resurface? As a suggestion, if you buy new do your best to get ones that have the painted hat. I was in a pinch and had to buy non-painted rotors when I did my brakes and the extra rust on the hat makes getting the wheels off for tire rotations a bit harder. Plus all that rust on the rotor looks shabby when you see it through the wheels.
