Hi All,
I recently installed new rear pads, calipers and rotors on my 2006 Sport edition
Rotors: Brembo Part #09.B634.11
Pads: AKEBONO ASP606A Ceramic
I'm experiencing a loud squeal coming from the brakes when I first drive off for the first few brake applications (almost like when the pads are low on material). The squeal goes away completely after a couple of blocks, but returns again every time I leave the house in the morning (I park in an underground garage as well). When performing the brake install, I made sure to lube all the contact surfaces on the pads, but can't help to think that the squeal is perhaps due to the ceramic pad material? Anyone else have this experience, or could point me in the right direction to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks in advance!
