Brakes squeaking

I have a 2007 SR5 4Runner that has 7500 miles on it. The last couple of weeks I have noticed a squeaking noise when I back out of my driveway in the morning. This only happens in the morning, is this normal or should I be concerned? I live north of Boston and I'm not sure if this is caused by the recent cold weather.

I think it depends on what pads you have. I recently have a full blown brake job, and the back ones squeak a bit. I got them to recheck them, but they said everything looks ok, just from the ceramic pads. No worries unless you feel vibration.

So you are saying that for a few seconds a day you hear a squeal? Live with it. No there is no major underlying issue here.

It's probably just minor surface rust on the pads/rotors from the morning dew. Perfectly normal to hear a squeak on the first stop or two of the day.

I get this squeaky noise everynow and then whenever i backup from my driveway ONLY in the mornings. I guess it must be the brake pads. I'll have it checked out and give you feedback.
