I’ve joined the 4Runner “club” last week with my new ride. I love it. I wanted to thank all the members here for the help and advice. I must have searched and googled a million times before finding my perfect match....all thanks to you guys and girls.

I think you have three options if you do not want to lift and don't want them to rub.

AT or MT tires in the stock 265/70/17 size

Or AT tires in the 275/70/17 or 255/80/17- I haven't found MTs in these sizes.

I would look at a level lift from ProComp. It’s a spacer lift in the front only and costs $165. Once you do that you give the front much needed room and can go 285/65/17 which will give it an amazing look.

This photo helped me ALOT to visualize the level lift. I went with the 3/2 spacer but this is a very simple bump in thhttp://trail4runner.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/4Runner_Level_Kit_No_Level_Kit_Comparison.jpge front to fit the tires the car needs to look better. Great option if you “don’t want to lift” but a good in between.

I think it looks great on silver, or even better. Bought for $98 on Amazon and installed in 5minutes. Good luck.

Just got a set off EBay including the off-road on the C-Pulars for under $100.

I can confirm they look amazing of silver, whole different look now.

Correction, I believe you can get BFG MTs in 255/75 (or 80)/17. This is a factory size on the new Wranglers I just can't remember if it is a 75 or 80 side wall. Either way, folks are using them on Runners without rubbing.

Did you have issues getting everything aligned with the 3” lift? I went with a 2” lift level for 2 reasons. 1) my rig came with Goodyear Duratrecs in stock size and I didn’t want them to look too small and 2) I didn’t want any issues getting everything aligned.

With my 2” lift they still could not get it perfectly aligned (albeit very close). I had an 07 tundra that I put a 3” lift on and I had to get new upper control arms to get it aligned.
