Brand new 2014, wheel change out on tap!

Hi folks,

Long time lurker, just joined today. Haven't had a 4runner since 2010, when I got rid of my 2004. Decided to join the club again and yesterday picked up a 2014 limited. Already got an appointment to get snow tires put on it (on 17s, of course...no need to be on 20s on steel wheels too, right ?).

Anyways, glad to be on board. I came here and read a ton of the great stuff people were posting while I spent the last 8 months slowly car shopping. That, and the heated AND cooled seats sold me on the new limited.

Congrats! Smart move with the 17" steelies for winter. I gotta saw they look kinda cool on the white too. I assume you're going with a 265/70/17 tire which is what's on the SR5 and Trail 4Runners. Extremely popular size so options and price shouldn't be bad. Enjoy your new whip!

But a first post without a single photo is like showing up to a party without bringing beer. Let's see some cold ones.
(And 17-inch steelies, or some Trail or SR5 rims from the classifieds here, with Blizzak DM-V1 @ 265/70R17 is a good plan for winter rims/tires. If not the Blizzaks, Toyo Open Country.)

I just bought my first $Runner too, right after black friday. I got a white SR5 and looking to upgrade to the 20" rims on the limited. Any chance you'd be interested in selling your 20"wheels and tires? I live in Miami and don't off road too much.

I have 5 new 2014 Limited wheels and tires for sale in KC metro area. Picked up new Limited on Saturday with TRD wheels installed by dealer before delivery. The wheels and tires include sensors on all 5. Make an offer? I am thinking they are worth $400 each. Not sure what shipping would cost...
