Thanks for that Brian it's been a privilege to serve. I'm already looking at a lift kit, ARB front bumper, new speakers and some other odds and ends for the Runner. I'll keep watching your build, you got a great rig.

So Jay (Driffter33) came up to my house today to get out of the heat and he brought his welder along with him so we could fix my panhard drop braket. J-$$$ (Jason) made me a nice drop bracket a few months ago, but he did a sh!tty job welding it on 
(you know I'm just jokin with ya) and it broke off. So Jay cleaned it all up and welded that sucker on there to stay.
We also got my Tundra brakes on (which went as smooth as can be). And, I can already tell after 10 miles on my mountain roads that they work sooo much better. I get no brake fade.
Honestly, I feel stupid for not doing this $330 mod 10 years ago. The 1st thing I noticed on this truck when I bought it was the brakes sucked, but everything else was good. Had I known then what I know now, Tundras would have been my very 1st mod.
And thanks again Jay! Always fun hanging out and playing trucks with ya!
P.S. Oh yeah, and Jay got to try his wheels out with my Tundras too. So now he knows he can either do a tiny bit of grinding or do spacers to fit them.

And Thanks to Brian I get to see how much work its going to be to slip those 33x12.50x16's/305's under my runner!:biggrin2: Sounds like another day of playing trucks will be in order! :drummer: I should be able to clearance the 305's enough to move up to 35's/315's IF/When I feel the need!

Sweet, you can cruise up here to work on your truck whenever you want if you don't want to sweat in the 100+ heat.

No worries. Scuba's $100 tube doors got you thinkin huh? You should do it since yours is a trail rig now. But one of these days we gotta do our cage idea!
I probably won't be able to go this week. I have a couple jobs tomorrow and Tues. Then I have band practice most of the day on Wed and Thurs to get ready for our show in the Lake Arrowhead Village Center Stage this Friday at 6:30.
BTW, did I invite you yet? It'll be a pretty big show. It's free too so bring Jenny and rock out with us. But yeah, I wanna go wheelin soon, but next week will probably be better.
Anyone else on here that lives in SoCal is invited too. I'm playing bass for the Tia Wilson Band. Sorry, I have nothing to link to because we pretty much learned a set just for this show so we have no recordings. But we probably will in the future since we sound pretty dang good now.

Thanks man. Tia's a hottie and she can really sing.
We do cool stuff (Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Eagles, Sublime, Lenny Kravitz, Stones, G'nR, etc..) so come and enjoy free music fellow T4Rers! There's also a band opening up for us to called Harlequin Soul, but I don't have any info on them except they won a battle of the bands to play the show with us. I hear they're pretty good too.

I have a lot of pics of my truck on my build thread, but not very many of the underside. I figured I'd take some armor shots.. some of it's custom, some of it's not..
ARB and front BudBuilt skid..
Front Bud (a little chewed up, but holding up well)..
The Bud belly pan attached to the front skid. You can kinda see the Lil' Skip's gas tank skid too..
Bud belly pan, Lil' Skip's gas tank skid and my 4xInnovations sliders..
Rear LCA mount (just welded plate on them for bashing)..
Side shot of LCA mount (added plate to side to keep bolts from rounding out the holes in the thin stock mounts). They're definitely not as nice looking as the Lotus LCA guards, but they weren't around yet..
Custom rear LCAs that J-money$$$ and I made. They're a poly bushing on the frame end and a 7/8" heim joint on the axle end. The tubing is .250" wall 1.75" DOM. Also, the lower shock mount skids are made by Icon..
