Got my ebay license bezel in. I finished putting the rear door back together. That was fun getting the window back in and bolted back onto the regulator. I greased the tracks up. All in all the rear door hatch rust and Track repair went alright. I just worked on it here and there.

I did not know our rear door hatch wiring harness is in 2 pieces. Basically, the plugs that plug into the body harness in the rig runs down the pillar then to 2 plugs on your hatch plate. The other harness is for the internals and plugs into to plugs next to your hatch plate. I never realized that these are two pieces and wanted to share in case others didn't know this. This is out of my parts rear door hatch which I will sale pieces of wires so others can patch their wires in that rear door hatch boot. I did forget to take some photos of the 2 parts. :-(

What it looks like when you have an ac leak when you have die in it.
I even tried new o rings. Looks to like I may need new Toyota o rings and 2 lines replaced.
You can see the sight glass line is the line itself.
I am debating on the low pressure line. I put 2 ac o rings in with the same result.
Could it be just the aftermarket ac o rings?
On that particular line, I don't see the toyota o ring part number. The rest I do. I am just mad at myself for not just getting the replacement o rings from Toyota. As at least one of thise leaks would not be there.

Well.. Yesterday I was supposed to have my car lift installed. That I ordered in March April. Delivered July 20th.. Had my spot in thr garage all cleaned out and waited for the installer appointment. Then 8 am the fun began. By 8:30 the fun stopped... Benpak shipped me the wrong one......

Whether going 2 post or 4 post, the best part is no more laying on your back on a nasty cold concrete slab!
Having the lift was a game changer for me. The 4post serves me well and with the sliding RJ-45 jack I can pretty much do any needed repairs.
Hoping you get yours soon as it will change your life.

So jealous of a lift! 2 or 4, I'd be fine with it. I have a standard garage and it just won't do any good.
Brillo, I've used generic green o rings without a problem. One thing I did find out is that you can over torque the junctions. I think the rule of thumb is finger tight and then 90 degrees. Less than you think. This was on different cars however, not a 4runner.

Well that could be an over torque issue. I do have the new line as its leaking at the sight glass through the line plus I bought a few sets of the oem Toyota o rings. (I just need to change it yet)
I mostly use a super short ratchet its like 4 inches long 3/8 drive so I don't over torque them as aluminum with steel bolts is mostly 13 to 15 ft/lbs max.
After 33 years of working on Toyota's, I just can't stand crawling on the floor anymore. I was proud of myself I didn't get super angry or yell at anyone for extreme mess up. Granted, I was and still am bummed about it.

Well I replaced Shitbox high line with the sight glass. The 10mm bolt on thr drier seem to fit snugger with the new oem lines. I pag oiled the o rings. Luckily the evap box side [17mm 19mm] came right apart. I paged oil the pressure switch [27mm, 19mm]. Pulled a replacement line clip to secure the line properly.
I replaced the low line o ring on the Condenser seemed to be snugger as well. The o rings seem to be the sane diameter as the green one. Except the oem one seems to have more girth so hopefully my 2 front leaks are sealed.
When I charged up the ac again. I watched the sight glass. Being it's crystal clear you could see what's going on.
I watched when the refrigerate hit the system. Then when it got enough to start to work. Went cloudy because it was way to low. Then when it was getting close you only see a few bubbles in the site glass. Then it goes clear. No bubbles nothing. My guess is that is the proper amount refrigerate for the state to function properly.

Tetanus 1 lost a body bracket. So I cut the junk metal out. Welded a new body mount on and got it back together [MENTION=318903]RandyBobandy[/MENTION] helped weld the plates in the I welded the body mount back on. Hard to believe I threw this rig together in 2017 for a work beater. Once I hit 300k I probably sale it off as I have quite the fleet.
