What it was, was the key I was using, which starts the truck and unlocks the doors does not work in the glove box.
I tried the spare key and it works.
I just bought this vehicle and it looks like the primary key is very worn and nolonger will work the glove box.
That's strange that it will start the truck but doesn't open the glove. I guess its easier to steal the truck than break into the glove. WTF
I did the same, but my dealer didnt care about ID or title, just wanted the vin... easy way to steal a car I suppose.gapboi210 said:I had to take a copy of the title and my ID to the dealership and have them cut a VIN based key. Works great.
