Bronze or Gunmetal ?

Opinions ? Black 3rd gen. Bronze or gunmetal wheels? 16x8 Countersteers.

Can you be a little more specific? A photo of your truck would help.

I can't say that a wheel that looks good on an 02 Sport Edition would look good on a 96 base model without flares, you know? There's a lot of variation with 3rd gens...

I have the bigger plastic flares and I'm putting the 3" OME lift on next weekend.

I think the Bronze would look good because your truck is all black, not enough people go that route!
Also, dont get the black ones because that much black looks stupid in my opinion.

Thanks Ripcord. Thats exactly what I was asking. I love the bronze and your right not alot of people go that route. Thats one of the main reasons I want them.

I am a fan of the bronze. I had a set of bronze wheels on my silver Z and got compliments and looks everywhere. Stood out from the black wheel crowd, that I have now joined.

Well.... The gunmetal were a different wheel that resembled the countersteer. Bronze will take 8-12 weeks for delivery. That is if he can even get them. The gunmetal rims are in stock now so that's why I couldnt decide. Wait for what I really want or get the ones that look ok but generic. However the gunmetal rims are around 500-600 more for the set. I'm gonna take my chances and put down the deposit for the bronze ones and hope he can get them. 8-12 weeks though is killing me. At least my lift should be here this weekend. :thumb3:

dont get me wrong i usually go for the gunmetal look but i really like the 3rd gn in black with the bronze rims and the tan interior

I assume it is the tan interior? Hard to make sure since the tint.

X2!! I did my wheels in GM, which breaks up the all blackness of my truck a little..... but next time around im gonna go bronze. That is, if I can get a good bronze out of rattle cans, not gold ha. Yeah I think black r34 skyline or black sti with bronze wheels, that's MY perspective. Tbh, ive never seen a truck rock the color scheme
