If you are willing/able to do some modifying to clear the fat lip, it probably can be done. I recently sold a Jaos 96-98 center protector to a guy who put it on an 05 4Runner. I was skeptical but it turned out looking great. He did some cutting and fabbing brackets. It all depends on how handy you are, what tools you have, etc.
