Brush guards for 90-95 4runner

I want a brush guard for my 94 4runner. I'm having a little bit of trouble finding some good online stores for the toy's. There is also a few different names... and seem to be strength. "brush guards" and "knock down guards"... I want something very strong and That I can maybe weld a winch to in the future. Something that can take a decent beating. I also don't want to spend $400+ on it. I've found one for $109, another for $140, and $230. Can anyone shine some light on this brush guard thing.... Thanks.

Brush guards

A brush guard will not hold up in a crash and will actually do more damage than if you didn't have one. If you want something for strength, get an ARB or TJM bumper to put your winch on. These things were designed for hitting kangaroos in the outback, so they will take punishment. You'll spend a bit more, around $600 but you won't have to worry about it messing up your vehicle if you hit something, like a brush guard will. They just don't hold up in low impact crashes. I've seen a brush guard in a 20 mph crash demolish the whole front end of the runner, lights, grill, hood, fenders, bumper, everything smashed!

WOW. Aare you serious!!! OK. ARB sounds good to me. HHmmm ... hitting kangaroos.... that's about the mantality I'd need for a design engineer for my brush guard. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
